H11 Bulb into an H9 socket?
I found these neat LED based H11 bulbs that I would want to put into my DRLs, however I am unsure whether they will fit. I know people modify H9 bulbs to fit into an H11 socket, but will an H11 fit into an H9 socket?

I found this, but this is the REVERSE of what I want to do.

You would just have to cut a bit of the longer socket tongue on the H11.
You would also have to cut the top flange to match the shape of the H9 bulb.
It should all work out for you. The H11 bulb will, however, be less brighter than your H9 highbeams.
May I suggest you rewire your foglights https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.p...oglight+rewire so that your foglights can act as your DRL. It'll save those H9's in the headlights for real highbeam duty.
