got 20mpg city today

ok
got 1/4 of a tank (4 gals), decided to see just how many m's/gal im getting so i rest the trip comp.
driving around the last couple of days and have done like 22 miles, and have used just one tick.

when im on the e ill do a proper calculation, but as of right now it looks like im getting at least 18mpg and at most 22mpg city. these values allow mess-ups in simply eyeballing a gauge

anyway, most of it was 25mph with lots of short driving (2 miles) with probably an equal amount at 40mph. shifting at 3k though sometimes i went up to 4k in 1st

anyway, thought id just throw that out there, know this dead horse has been beaten pretty good though

i think that's a very unreliable measure of fuel mileage.

as much as I'd like to believe the 20 mpg in city driving, but just because the needle is at 1/4.. doesn't mean it consumed 4 gallons.

Sorry, I have to agree. you very very likely consumed more than 4 Gallons. And if it's only 4.4 Gallons.. that means 10% more.. that will turn a 20 mpg into an ~18 mpg.

Let's wait for your proper calculation :-)
