If you are considering the rear fog kit the harness will need modificiation to fit a US spec 8.

Standard equipment in Europe!

This kind of stuff is standard equipment in Europe.

When a European car is delivered to the states that function is usually disabled either by simply taking out the bulb or disabling the system at the headlight switch. With that said almost if not all VW's, Audi's, Porche's and MB have the lenses already built into the rear tail lights, They just don't operate here in the states. Some cars only need a new headlight switch and the bulb added to the housing inorder to activate that added safety feature.

my freinds mazda was an import from UK. his still hast the light in the rear left corner.. and it is still hooked up.. its not illeagel here in CA.. it just has to be on the LEft corner if it is alone..

But i cannot belive that it would get a ticket issued..

If i installed it i would hook it into the ruinning lights. :)

I was just posting the VC info becasue someone had asked for it.

But then we wouldn't have the cool rotor shaped rear light. Where's the fun in that? :)
