funny story

So I just got my 3rd engine in the car I know. I still love my car and I don't think I will ever be happy driving anything else, unless it's some sort of exotic that is. So, after a day my CEL turns on. I was like, **** not again I took it back to the mazda, this is what they had to say. Keep in mind I was sitting there for 7 hours for them to fix the issue.

Mazda: We need to unplug your battery to erase the information that gave a CEL last time. Let's wait 1 hour and see if it goes away.

ME: thinking to myself, so I guess they didn't have the battery out when they changed my engine a few days ago. really wtf is this guy saying. So I decide to entertain the idea. After one hour

Mazda: well the light is still there. I'll get back to you after we check it. So I go to Denny's for lunch. later when I get back.

Mazda: So it seems like your crankshaft might have an issue WTF!!!! I have one of those, NO WONDER MY ENGINE HAS ALL THESE PROBLEMS!!! anyway I knew he ment eccentric shaft. By the end of the day, they replace my a crank sensor and that solved everything. I really hope this engine last this time. having to take my car in ever 30k miles really sucks.

I think I have to by now. I been through a lot with this car and I love it to death. When I first bought it, it was so nerve recking, even when people walked to the car just to look, or look inside, I had my figure on the panic button. My friends told me to calm down or I would have a heart attack. That's what I get for having a flashy color.

After he said that to you you should have asked him 'how were the push rods?'

Odd, I had the same issue but the CEL code spelled out the problem. Did you bother to have the cel read anywhere other than the dealer?

No, I took it to Mazda right away since they just replace my engine and the light went off. You would think the mechanic would know.
