Wow, I routinely got 18/23 (in warmer weather). In the recently absurd cold and snow (for this region), my city economy has dropped to about 16mpg.
That said, I was aware of it going into it and I have no regrets.

Under normal driving, I think most are getting near the rating (around 16/17 city and 20-23 hwy). Obviously those that drive the car hard all the time and do almost all city driving will see significantly less mileage.
I also think that if the plugs, coils, MAF, and overall engine cleanliness (including injectors and catalyst) are not well maintained over time, mileage will go down significantly.

As most of us know this has been discussed WAY too much.
Comparision: my buddy's G35 sedan gets the same mpg that I do (~18mpg), you don't hear the g35 getting bashed for this.
Let's all just put this issue to bed once and for all....

I remember when my salesmen actually pointed out that the gas mileage isnt so great for its engine size. I responded to that with " its a sports car who cares!" My friends cousin bought an H2 averages about 12-14 mpg and he didnt care either
Seems like our 8 is no worse in real world MPG than small SUV's.
A co-worker just sold her 3.0 Escape 'cause it was getting 400kms max to about 55 litres (about 280 miles) - same as me and my 8 (both non-highway commutes). My wife's new V6 Grand Vitara JLX-L is barely any better then my 8 either.
