Hey All!

I just picked up my Lightning Yellow RX-8 GT this past weekend - love it to death already.

My question is concerning the Front Rotary Crest --- I have the front air dam installed in my car and the dealership I bought the car from told me that I could not put the crest on it --- is this true? I've seen pictures here that have the air dam as well as the crest --- so I'm confused. I would really like to put one on, but I don't want to force fit it and possibly damage the finish on the air dam.

If you mean the front rotary accent then yes you can install it and from what I've read and heard its not that difficult to install. You also have the option for the Rear Rotary Accent. In fact, the car I will be getting has the air dam and rotary accents.

Search the forums for Rotary Accents and you'll find a number of threads on it. Hope that helps.

Check your window sticker. If you paid for them, have them put it on ASAP. If not, you can buy them on line.

Yeah, they're wrong. Absolutely no doubt about it, they're wrong.

It's home RX-8 project 101 to install these yourself. So darn easy. If priced above Trussville, this is your lucky day. Drop it/them off of your options list & order them thru Trussville.

I put my RAs on in the parking lot at Trussville mazda for 120 bucks after the salesjerk said He would put them on for free at his cost of 170. Salesmen lie alot.
Fender strakes and RA front and rear took a combined 25 minutes to install.
