Front Fascia Dent

I picked up my RX8 a few weeks ago. I have noticed a small outward dent on the upper left front side of the front fascia. It's looks like a bolt or bracket is pushing on the cover from underneath. At first I thought I could live with it but whether real or imagined it appears to be getting worse. Having little confidence in dealers I will probably tear it down myself and see what is going on. Has anyone removed a front fascia or have any idea what this may be?

its under warrenty. take it to the dealer. if you dont and mess something up(i dont know your level of mechanical expertise and i am not trying to say you dont know what you are doing so dont get offended) they will not cover anything if you have to take it to them to fix what you have done wrong.

edit: if you still want to do it yourself than post in the tech section under appearance/body kits and someone should be able to help you.

You would think it was under warranty. I was at the dealer today and after a significant debate the service writer recommended bringing back on the another day when the service manager was there. Since virtually all dealers in my area sub their body work I have little confidence it will not come back with even more problems. I think I can handle it. I was just wondering if it was a common problem or not.

I haven't heard of it but most reputable body shops will be able to handle it. I wouldn't risk voiding my warranty over that since it isn't a common problem among other owners so chances are there is a problem.
