in any car i used to get sick when sitting in backseat. especially if i started to get warm. give him dramamine if he has to ride in the back. works wonders.

I'd yak too if I were forced to sit back there with the beachball rear suspension. No need for dramamine, just rip out the suspension.

No sickness issues, but one of my friends described it as being in his own little spaceship.

We had an accident, here in Chicago, a while ago. The front two in the car were not conscious, the car caught fire and the person in the back was unable to exit.

ive considered for a while putting in a shock switch to shut off the fuel. im not sure why the 8 doesnt have one, but a lot of vehicles do have an impact switch that disable the fuel pump to prevent fire.

Agreed. For those that are not familiar with the car, it is almost impossible for them to get out from the rear without help from the front.

The term suicide doors came from when the reverse opening doors came open while under way, a person could be pulled out of their seat while hanging onto the handle. It was suicide to open the door while underway.

Always keep a Glass Breaker in the back seat of a Two Door Car. Let anyone who sits back there know where it is and how to use it and that you will kill them if they use it unnecessarily LOL.

Back Window works a whole lot better for an emergency exit, if it is broken.

its been mentioned in numerous reviews that the back of the RX8 is clastrophobic (sp?) feeling... I personally agree.

Its roomy enough to feel comfortable legroom-wise but with the big front seats, narrow roofline and skittle sized rear window; it can FEEL a little closed in back there.

I havent received too many complaints, people usually look worried before they get in but once theyre back there it's really not terrible.

you could break the front window and reach the outside door handle it would be easier than the inside one plus you could break the rear window instead of the side and climb out that way

Was just about to point that out... the rear windshield is large enough. Not sure if you could reach the door handle by sticking your arm out the rear side windows.

Ever since I first read that story of that crash I've been a little paranoid when I have had people in the back seats.
