So the Focus does get around the AutoX course faster?

SVT focus is only 130bhp? You were robbed!

Oh and as I said, the RS focus cant keep up with an RX-8. Comes close but not quite (RS is a FWD 210 bhp monster focus).

 

ppl here are just sensitive about performance comparisons bc the rx8 turned out to be kind of an underperformer for its price and class. it's been a sensitive issue here pretty much ever since it was beaten by an rsx in best motoring.

 

The only way the svt focus or even the rs focuse could compet with the RX8 in autoX is if the course were set up by the miata drivers. Meaning there are no long straight alot of tight turns. It give the smaller and nimble car an advantage over the bigger care like the RX8 or even the 350Z.

 

SVT has 170hp & 145 foot-pounds. Its just like the ST170.
That sucks about the RSX comparison but how did the RSX outperform the Mazda? It sounds like a load to me. Got link?

Check out the Sebring times at the bottom. The RSX is in a league with the Focus, MSP, & Dodge. It would get dusted on the AutoX.
