Question Flashed but rough idle?

I did a search but it seems most idle issues are with bouncing between 1k and 1.5 erraticly. mine i never see move. stuck at 900-1k and it runs fine but at stop lights it slightly hesitates but idle doesnt move. i have previous records of the car where it was flashed before. but seems like even when i have the ac on high recirc. it still seems to not move. any ideas?

The engine was designed to do this, intentionally. There is overlap between the intake and exhaust ports, and at idle it can make the idle "lop" around randomly. They can make it go away with a faster idle, but that will cost you fuel.

Enjoy the car.

really? all of you experience idle like this? After I got the S flash my idle is rock solid. No idle searching what-so-ever. After warmup it sits at about 800 or 1k rpm, I forgot.

[edit]oh, reading comprehension for the win. His idle is ~1k steady, I see. oops.[/edit]

thats what i figured but is it normal for the idle to not surge when the compressor kicks on. just solid 1k, but then i think i need to get the new amp for ac, not as cold as should be, but then again texas heat sucks, thanks for the responses guys.

if you have the s flash... you will not feel the ac surge..... you will feel a stumble as the rpms drop when you depress the clutch and come to a stop..
