I need to get oil for the first top off of my 8. I know I need 5W-20 dino oil for the top off since that is what is in there...any recommendation on a brand? Anyone know what comes in it?

I know it has been asked before, but searching turned up ALOT of other things and I kinda need to get it topped off soon. The damn service department never answers the phone at the dealership either.

 

Get Castrol GTX 5w-20 with the GF4 rating. It is a dino brand most consistently liked here in the forum.

 

Thanks Wedge, I'll give it a shot. I just wanted to get it topped off right the first time. I get to take the Shinka to the track today.

To sum it up...HOLY SH*T! lmao, it was a blast. I was impressed by an Audi A4 out on the track...and Miatas which I always knew were good, even better on a track.

I went with the Castrol, seems fine to me.
