well...here's the translation in case you're too lazy to click on that link:

"RX-8" came to my home (the 1).
...... Mr. Haru Yuno of Ibaraki-shi, Osaka

Mazda Motor "RX-8" came to the house of Mr. Haru Yuno who provides "webCG" with the motor sports photograph in April, 2003.
The father of the three-person family of having put in the order immediately after the reservation start reports the circumstances to RX-8 purchase, and the occurrence after delivery of cars!

¡ There were some which are felt.

The evening on April 22, 2003 and "RX-8" were delivered.
It will be a front to have invented the change of BMW "318is" (predecessor) which has ridden till then in about two years. BMW "318", VW "PASATO" and a "bowler", alpha ROMEO "147", "156", etc. were seen, or it test-rode. Although hope was the manual of a left-hand drive, since there was this [ no ] very much, it was troubled.

Saying to dealers, "After seeing RX-8, it decides" has been continued after a trial ride. Although there was not necessarily a great basis, there were some which are felt somehow in RX-8. Only RX-8 were considered, if it rode on the right-hand drive, although there was [ whether it is put on the market those days and ] also no firm belief.

318is(es) which passed both nine years were the well-balanced cars which were able to improve very much. Even now, to a red zone, engine completely turns smoothly satisfactory, is taken out low mpg (it is liter 15km by high-speed cruising), and has not declined in a feeling of shift FIRU or rigidity, either. I thought that all had probably got used to the body and were such things as "an exactly good car." Therefore, separation was hard.

It had become a complicated feeling, the joy which gained the new car having not been so explosive, having put in order and stopped two sets, and catching the sight, since I met showy RX-8 applied to the "Lightning yellow" in such a feeling.

the heart which is smiling as for you of a store though stopped, and is in fashion -- mind -- involuntarily -- ‚Æ -- the touch to say As me of a strangely calm state, it was very interesting with impoliteness. People were walking along them and turning around the eight, so that it said whether many people were in this store like this. (It continues)
EDIT: with that being said, if anyone can translate the translation, please feel free to...i have NO idea what he's saying...

Hmmm, let's see...

The Mazda Motors RX-8 was delivered to the house of Mr. Haru Yonu who does web design for Motor Sports in April, 2003 misplaced date. Delivered 2003, not design in 2003. Mr. Yonu is married with one child. He reserved the car as soon as possible, and today it was delivered.

April 22, 2003 in the evening the car was delivered. It is replacing Mr. Yonu's BMW 318is, which has driven for the last two years. Other cars he test drove or though about included the current BMW318, the VW Passat, a Bowler, the Alpha Romeo, etc. He was hoping to get a left-hand-drive Manual steering wheel on the right side? but was unable to.

Mr. Yonu told the dealers that he decided on the RX-8 as soon as he saw it, and was even happier after taking his test drive. It wasn't necessarily the best, although some think it is. Once he determined that it would be right-hand-drive, this was the only option.

In comparison, the BMS 318is(es) is a well balanced car which has improved quite a bit over the last nine years. He can take it all the way to the redline easily and smoothly, and it still gets good gas mileage (about 15km/L at freeway speeds), and generally it still feels pretty new. It was a great car and I was just getting used to it, so it's hard saying goodbye.

It's complicated to express, but even as I'm sad to say goodbye to the BMW I am much more excited about this new car, to the point that I feel I'm going to explode. I put in the order and checked twice to make sure it was going, but I'm so excited since I've seen it, especially the "Lightning Yellow" color.

My heart stopped and I couldn't help but smile, and a strange calmness came over me as I took ownership of the car. People were stoping to stare as I drove it, with many other people in the store asking what's that car.

Then the story continues on a second page, not translated

Ha! So the first ones go to insiders in the car industry as expected! Car & Graphic who he works for did a really nice review on the 8 so this is the reward I guess!

I don't know how we're supposed to get this guy on the forum?! Look him up in the phone book and go around to his house? :p
Osaka is about half-way between Tokyo and Hiroshima so a fair way from East Moon, Yuhki and I here in Tokyo.

i dont know the law in Japan- if you followed him until he got out of his car and then dragged him to an internet cafe and logged on to the forum and didn't let him leave until he had answered our questions, would that be considered a crime in Japan?

15 km/l = 35 mi/gal

impressive!

Edit: Oops, that number is for the 318. It pays to read in context. Sorry.

There is only three of us on the board from Japan. East Moon has his car. Yuhki and I are still waiting for the 6CD to get fitted at the Tokyo distribution centre. The estimate is another 2-3 weeks!
