First Post: Thanx RX-8 Club
Probably my first and last post since I'm just a driver. I am totally in love with my silver 8 GT Nav 6 speed. If I do anything with it it will be some sort of turbo otherwise I like it just the way it is.
Just wanted to thank the club for steering me away from other mods which I probably would have gotten if I hadn't read some good threads over the past month. I'm convinced mazda really configured the 8 optimally HPwise. I love going 40 and then having someone in a civic or anything along those lines try to take me. It's a joke! This mid range power of the 8 is very nice.

I agree. No need to mod unless you are into drag or street racing. But if I was a drag racer, I would have bought the 350, Evo, or WRI. Essentially, the RX8 is more like a touring car (with xenons, nav, 6 disk changer, leather seats, 4 seater) and that's exactly what I want it for. For day to day use, the RX8 is fast enough to smoke many cars.
