We bought it!! Only thing is, is our Loan is paying off his loan, and they are over nighting the check, so its going to take a day or 2 for the title to be released so we can get it registered.

These are the pictures he took of it. Only 57k miles on it, so not so bad =) The only thing thats done to it is Tint, and a K&N cold air intake, brand new tires, and a alarm system.

sure did The guy got short notice orders to Japan, and hes putting his rx7 in storage and put up his rx8 for sale and his house is being packed up tuesday. so he wants it gone and priced it low. perfect timing =)

I have wanted a Rx8 since i first saw them in 04, got to ride in a friend of mines and ever since then i was hooked... Ive been waiting and waiting and waiting... in 2008 i FINALLY got him to go test drive one, but the only one in the area for sale was a automatic.. he drove it said the handling was good but hated it, he had his brother in his ear telling him how shitty a rx8 was..... I have convinced him since then that the only car i will buy is a rx8....
Long story short....i won! He said the difference between the Manual and automatic is amazing. He now loves it. go figure...

How could you NOT win? If your husband has any sort of love for cars he should have jumped at the chance to buy one. And how lucky is he to have a wife that wants an RX-8?

Luckily my fiance also enjoys sports cars, but I just can't convince her that having two RX-8s would be a good idea.

 

congrats! i had an fd before and while i loved that fd to death, i love the 8 just as much, if not more. it's so much more usable everyday, and the amount of power is just right to make hooliganism safe and keep everything still fun. make sure the 8 is in good shape and keep up the good maintenance, and it'll be good to you

hes putting it in storage while hes over seas. he said hes got it up to 540hp.. lol i feel bad for him cause he said hes getting 8mpg and hes gotta drive it all the way up to PA from florida for storage lol.
