Hey all, Been following the site for a little while now. Finally got my 8. She's a 2005 Shinka. Drove her home from New York just before new years. Most fun I have had in a car in a long long time.

The weather here sucks, so the pics are going to have to wait. Sorry. Yeah, I guess asking for tips was kinda stupid. I have been paying attention to the threads. I am near Altoona, PA. Small town called Bellwood.

 

your about 3hrs from me. if you ever venture around the poconos hit me up seems mine is the only 8 in my area on this forum and ide love to get to meet some members. i see a few 8s now and again but it seems no one is on here. maby i should print some flyers and leave them under peoples wipers

I'll keep that in mind. There are very few in my area as well. It's really one of the reasons I got the 8 instead of a few other cars I was looking at. That and the fact that once I drove one I fell in love with the high revving, go cart handling, pure fun nature of the 8.

Thanks! I am dying to polish her up and take some good pics, maybe even get my wife to shoot with her. The snow around here is killing me too.... I WANT TO DRIVE MY NEW TOY!!!

I got her from a dealership in Waterloo, NY. She's an 05 Shinka, 35,000 miles, 6 speed manual. She's not perfect, but I think for the money I spent I got a good car.
My hopes are to do a wheel and tire package on it, some window tint, iPod connect kit. Not looking to go extreme, I am a little old to be Speed Racer....lol. But I want to have some fun with her.
Not sure what other details you may be looking for, knowing that the Shinka gives you the idea of what accessories are in it.
Very, very happy with my decision so far.
