got updated today that she has dropped down to #3. we have two weeks to bump her into the #1 spot and voting closes 4/16. on 4/19 we'll know whether or not she was the top viewed video and a final contestant. if she's not, i'll cross my fingers that the judges pick her as one of the other 9 finalists based on their criteria but let's not put it in their hands.

i'm not sure if this belongs in the lounge but am hoping it can stay here. my sister is also the owner of an 8 (SS w/ black and red interior) and needs some help. she's trying to break into the acting field and is right now trying to become the "Face of Fox" for a competition at her local news station.
every time someone views it all the way to the end, she gets a vote so please help a fellow RX-8 owner accumulate enough votes to be one of the finalists in the panel! oh, and she is an attractive young lady but is also my sister and will probably see this thread at some point so please be respectful with any comments (this means you, leghumpers).

they only update once a week so we'll get the last update monday and then have the rest of the week to bump her up to 1st or keep her in first when it ends friday. as soon as i have news on monday i'll be sure to update everyone.

just got home from traveling all day. checked the site and she's up to #2. we have until friday to bump her up to #1 since friday is when they close the polls. thank you everyone for voting so much and bumping her back up to #2!

so the results are in and marie did not get the top viewed video 
she still has a chance as the judges will be picking the last 9 finalists but she did not win this portion. we'll know next week if she's a finalist and the process will pretty much start over again. cross your fingers and thank you to everyone who voted for her. she really appreciates the support.

if she's one of the other finalists (which i'd be shocked if she wasn't), i'll be sure to bump this daily to get people voting. i'm not sure how she didn't have more than the 23,000 views they say he has. i know i had 10 tabs opening and refreshing constantly so i was probably good for at least 10,000 myself. i call shenanigans that he won.

so i said i would come on and update. as a complete surprise to me since she was in the number 2 spot most of the time, the panel did not choose marie as a top 10 finalist. she does appreciate all of the votes to try to get her there but looks like this wasn't meant to be.
