Just some thoughts I have.
My gf just got a hot FC 90'
New motor, new Tranny, new paint and body, new wheels, its litterally a brand new car.

She was gonna get new leather seats put in cuz shes short and the clutch was a bit too far for her, but my buddy who sold her the car adjusted the clutch and made it about 2 inches closer, so she might not need seats anymore.
anyway....

I was thinking...
would rx8 seats fit in an fc? (I think I saw one at SS9)
and also, would an OEM rx8 **** fit in that as well, or is that a diff thread pattern?

i think the shift **** will fit, but not sure about the seats (probably not).

humm.... I mean, either way, we were gonna drill the Fc tracks onto the leather seats, so as far as the tracks, im sure they would fit, but my concern is the size of the seats, I think the rx8 seats might be a few inches wider.... Maybe not.
i'll try out my shiftknob, that would be sweet.

S5 89-91) RX-7 shifters use the same thread pattern and size on the shifter as all 90+ Manual transmission Mazdas.

Seats won't bolt in, but do fit with custom mounts

 

The seats are wider and I think a few inches higher as well.

 

i think guitar junkie had rx8 seats in his FD. but you may have to get custom rails fabbed up.

 

yeah, the custom rails arent a problem. I was just concerned for the size.
