it won't hurt the car. When mazda was testing the car, they ran a few of them in a circular track at redline for several days non stop (though they stopped to refuel and switch drivers).

There should be no problem with running the engine that hard. Never the less PLEASE dont do this on a public road. if on a track yea go for it and let us know the results.

lol ...i would be driving from california to utah next wed ....probably going over 100 at some constant speed which i have no idea what yet ~ hope it doesnt hurt me too ~
