hey my friend has an RX8 and hes in the marines so im asking this question for him. I know there is a brand exhaust out there that pops and lets off a spark when your revving high and shifting gears because ive seen somebody with it on both an RX8 and a RSX-S. just wondering if anyone might know which system this is, i was thinking greddy sp2.

 

i have the greddy sp2 n it does make the pop noise, but i thnk most of the exhuast make the pop, not sure tho

 

My borla afterburns almost every time I shift, it's kind of annoying.

 

Do a title only search for " flames "

 

I'm running an SP2 with no cat- shoots flames daily. Much more than sparks I'd say

 

sometimes mufflers that use steel wool as a packing material can shoot out 'sparks'........if the muffler gets hot enough and there is a backfire with enough force.........is that what your talking about

steel wool IS FLAMABLE when its A)thin enough or B) hot enough

This is super fine #0000 steel wool, lit with a lighter and swung around (I do this on 4th of july, geat for cheap 'fireworks'
