Before everyone starts flaming on me for posting in the RX-8 discussion section, let me just say a few things. I have read the every "EXHAUST SUMMARY" post in the "Aftermarket performance modification" section of this forum. Your pics, sound clips, & opinions really helped me come to my decision to purchase the Racing Beat cat back system. (Special Kudos to Jedi54 for his help!)

I have searched the vendors on this site and the best price for the Racing Beat cat back system is $655.00 from Mazsport.net. Is there anyone out there who knows where there may be a better deal on this system? I am in SoCal but would be willing to have it shipped from anywhere as long as the price was better. If not, I will be ordering it within the next 2 weeks. Can't wait to hear it!

check the FS boards.. exhausts pop up on a pretty regular basis and you can get one cheap (if you dont mind used)

 

^^agree, used is the way to go for a mod thatll give you 2 horsepower, jk. Quick way to save a buck though, just make sure its in good shape and have the person email you lots of pics. Definatly recommend going used for a catback.

 

new catbacks are often pretty expensive. when all they give you is a look/sound. go used...ull save a good penny

 

Yeah i've never seen it any cheaper than $655 new. I just looked around and the closest price i found to that was $689. So either get it from mazsport or buy one used.

Anyway, if you run across a used Magnaflow, go ahead and get it as Racing Beat uses their cans.

 

i would just go with the 655 direct from Racing Beat. they are only 45~ min from you (from google maps) so you could just pick one up i guess.
