I was going to say maybe he bought a 2007 and had it painted, but then I saw the 2004 black washer fluid reservoir. Maybe he had the car painted and the black reservoir retrofitted! :D:

which order was the yellow available? darker yellow in 04-05, then pale in 06, no?

The text says something about "original paint", which lets out the repainted notion.

No warranty on a mislabelled '04 with an open recall on file. Caveat emptor, alright.

It says 2004 all over that auction. Its only 2007 in one spot.

it says 2004 in the model year field. maybe he bought an extended warranty that lasts thru 2007?

Only 2004's have the black washer fluid reservoir? Mine is a 2005 (VIN and Carfax proven) with the black washer fluid container. Just sayin...

It's a Mazda thing. Yellow's a first year color. If there's a mk2 8, it'll probably get yellow the first year as well.
