EVAP problems and possibly more

Hi, i have a 2004 mazda rx8 manual transmission 1.3l rotary with around 46.5k miles. Just recently the check engine light came out and i took it to a meineke today. It pushed out the code P0455 which is an evaporative emission system leak detection. Well i know that sometimes a loose gas cap can cause this light to come on. So after i removed the gas cap, i unplugged the battery, replaced the gas cap tightly and reconnected the battery. The check engine light is now off, but my no traction light has come on and i cannot turn my DSC on and off. I would blink for a minute or two and then turn off and my no traction light is stuck on. My rx8 is still under warranty, i was just wondering if there is anything i can do in order to fix this without making a dreadful trip to the dealership. I thank you for all of your prompt responses.

Turn the key to the "on" position and then turn your steering wheel all the way to the left and all the way to the right. This will reset the DSC.
