Hey man, no offense, but if you have to ask...are you sure you should be trying to build your own engine?
There are chamfers cut into the side of the rotors which must align with the exhaust ports to facilitate exhaust gases exiting the engine. Reversing the rotors means these chamfers will not align any more.

thanks everybody and special rotary resurrection for answering my question. Well I am not trying to build my own engine but i had this question since Mazda has labeled with different part number front and rear rotor.
So rotary ressurection this difference that you have mentioned between front and rear rotor can we call it port phasing ?
