Question Doesn's RX-8 shake?

I got my RX-8 about 3 weeks ago. I have felt that the car shakes too much when I put on the brake in D(Driving). Especailly, I can feel that the engine shakes too much whenever I stop and wait for green light at the signal. However, it feels like the car does not shake when I put on the brake in P(parking). Does anybody feel the same thing while you are waiting on the signal putting on the brake? Is this normal thing that I should feel? or there is something wrong with my car? please answer me if you know anything...Thank you~

Sounds like the torque converter is unbalanced. When you have an automatic transmission in drive, and your slow down or stop. The engine's drive power is diverted to the torque converter. When the car is in Park or Neutral, there is no connection to the tranny from the engine and it therefore spins freely. If your getting vibration or "shaking" I would test drive another auto RX-8 before checking with the dealer. If the other car doesn't shake, then you obviously have a problem, and you would at least have a way of proving it. Good luck.

definately not normal. Your rx-8 should be smooth as butter.
