it happens all the time for me, worse in cold weather.. but a trick I learned is to turn on the heater, the rattling goes away when the interior is warm, and I'm also warm

are you on the stock tires?? they get hard during the winter and will transfer more force to the rest of the car.

Yes definitely.

I guess whatever specific material that is used is really affected by heat and cold. For example, the e-brake handle in the summer is like gumbi soft, but in the winter I can't even bend it in the morning.

I think pieces creak and rattle because there is no flex in them.

i'm having the same issue after the recall , it vibrates everytime i brake but it disappear after about 20min. of driving. I think this has something to do with the engine/transmission mount.

I've got a tree in my front yard that seems to creak more in winter than summer.

I notice that the plastic pieces in the dash creak when the car is cold, going around turns mostly. After the cabin warms up it creaks a lot less, maybe every so often. I know its just the cold weather do it doesn't bother me to much.

^ Same here. It's not really very noticeable when I am driving on smooth roads. When I have to drive over rough, bumpy, rutted parts of road it it pretty bad. Also sounds pretty bad going over speed bumps when I'm leaving and my car is totally cold. It does get less when the car is warmed up. Not really a big deal. Turn the radio up and you won't notice! LOL

Yeah, it's awful in the cold. I have yet to go to the dealer a second time to make them fix a motor mount issue, so my car is a giant vibrator with all the plastic being stiffer. Rattles all over the place. Funny though, only GUYS complain about my car vibrating and rattling...

I just got new motor mounts, and my rattles are gone. I also only have about 3600 miles on my car, so eventually some will probably appear.

Mine only does it over really rough road, especially in the cold. I have around 9300 miles right now.

I haven't really noticed a lot of rattling but I usually have my radio on. I have noticed that if I let it idle, every once and a while the rpms will drop slightly and the car will shake for a second... This happen to anyone else? Is this normal?

I've noticed tons of rattles appear. During the summer almost none. This is my first winter with this car.

Both doors now rattle, in the right front corner where the dash meets the windshield it rattles. Might have to go on a rattle hunt.
