It wasn't by much, but I had a Dodge Magnum pull away from me. (By a car length.)

I know the mags say the RX-8 is quicker, but I beg to differ.

(plus, who knows what that guy may have had in the back)

I guess I was just suprised.. A "Sportscar" get outrun by a "station wagon". I know -- bigger motor, but also more weight.

So of all the things a car does, it only corners and handles worse. for roughly the same price.

It will tow, haul more, hold more people, more confortable, faster, quicker so on. Just suprised me..I would have thought the rx8 would have him by 2-3 car lengths.

My dad has one and it's pretty fun to mash the gas pedal. A couple things that keep it from being quicker are the electronics (traction control, etc) and the runflat tires.

 

I'd bet that 300C Hemi is sick then. Has to weight less.

LOL... The airport is not a secret.. It is a public airport that is open and used. They close the tower at 11:00pm everynight and there is no air traffic after that. We don't just sit on the field, but the taxi ways can get used to get from one end to the other.

 

The only way you'll ever convince Ike is if you pay for a plane ticket for him to come out and watch it for himself.

 

Do I hear "ROAD TRIP." Can I come?
