i am planning on doing those stripes with black tape so if i dont want them after sometime i can remov them tell me if it looks good?

i've seen it before and if dont right it can look pretty decent. i'd make the outside bands fatter though.

Haha come on dude, you could of done a better photoshop job than that. I've never even thought to do stripes on a RX8

I say try it, it doesnt look horrible, you might be able to pull it off. All else fails, remove the stripes.

It can look ok butt....................

Make sure the balance of the car is fixed to be aggressive, like racing wheels and good spoiler (Mazdaspeed in this case works)

Also do a search and you will find two or three grey/silver cars w/ black stripes.

 

"racing stripes" should be left for the cameros and mustangs...
looks like crap, imo

 

Not really a big fan of stripes, but make sure it looks better than your photochop job.

 

I personally wouldn't but dont' think it looks too bad....but I also agree with trying to make the outer stripes wider/bigger

 

to be honest with you, i cant see an rx8 with racing stripes. but then again, i dont like racing stripes on any car. there are some cars taht look nice in, like AC cobra, but a 67 vette would look stupid in it. then there is a Ford GT and Dodge viper that looks good in it. But the current vette would look stupid in it.

so i guess it depends on the car, i just cant see a rx8 with that type of stripes on it. I have recently seen a pic of a rx8 with the racing stipes on the side (like the ford gt 500 style) it i didnt look right.

 

Stripes, for me, have been spoiled by all of the Civics and Cavaliers I've seen running around with them. I just feel the RX8 is too classy for them.

Maybe it would look better if Alfy used his photoshop skills...
