Do NOT try this at home

Fun to watch, but absolutely stupid.

I feel torn posting it, but it does demonstrate the perfect weight distribution of the RX-8 in a manner that words could never do justice to:

Oh, and just so we're clear, that is neither myself nor anyone I know.

I found that clip (ironically) in the Nissan 350Z Forum. :D

I've seen that video before. If I'm not mistaken, I believe that used to be a member here by the name of judgeIto.

Poor RX-8 indeed! Here in TX that's a $250 fine(yes, I got one, due to some testosterone-induced stupidity, and my friends). But I've heard they raised it to $300. And I wonder what the dealership could do?

So he did a fat burnout? That itself isn't a big deal, but the doing it on a public street in my eyes is a No-No.

Almost any RWD with ***** can do great looking donuts, dont see how this is indicative of RX-8 awesomeness =/

(btw, I absolutely love RX-8's so don't call me a non-believer)

Yeah, how does that prove anything about rx-8 weight distribution?

I saw that video 2 years ago. It's a good example of what stupid people do with their free time.

I bet that was a Clorox burnout, if you look around the tires you can see that they put something on them. For those of you that have never heard of that before, if you put clorox aka bleach on your tires it will produce a **** load more smoke, I am not advising this by all means but if you want to F up your car like this dipshit is doing feel free. I do not see how this has to pertain with a weight distrobution post.

Anyone think it's probably really dumb to put something corrosive like clorox on your car?

A velocity red just like mine. Interesting to watch as long as it's not my car. Rather dangerous too.

Sure. I do fun things in cars all the time. Of course I'm wrapped in Nomex and on a race track away from innocent bystanders, but, I understand I'm smarter than a lot of people.

I do not believe one would be able to achieve as tight a radius as this RX-8 did without perfect or nearly perfect weight distribution.

I've seen three cars do such a tight ring: A BMW M3, a Porsche 928, and the RX-8. All three have 50-50 weight distributions.

You want a tight radius... my car will spin like a top, but it doesn't have a damn thing to do with weight distribution.

Ohh yea I wash MY car with clorox all the time. I also use Ajax with a metal sponge to take care of those pesky tar spots. gets them every time!!

As for the burnouts after cloroxing the tires I add some food coloring and walla!! baby red, green, blue, yellow smoke just like on formaula D.

I wonder if he's managed to find some more power out of that "bone-stock" car.

What a laugh.
