Sorry i couldnt post more earlier, i was on my PS3 and typing on there is the s*k. Essentially since i want to buy a white 8, which only started in 05... that i wanted to make sure it has HIDs before i sell my previous set.

I guess i'll just wait till i buy the car, and if it does have HIDs - i'll post my spare set for sale.

Pretty sure it's just the base model that didn't come w/HID, and sport model and up have HID. Which would mean no DSC = no HID.

 

Base=no
Sport, Touring, Grand Touring=yes

If it has DSC/TSC and fogs it has HIDs.

HIDs W/ Projectors In Headlights + HIDs W/Out Projectors in the FogLights has always looked really weird to me.

Im gonna be changing out the HID bulbs in the new car anyway, but i'll need to keep the spare set to pass safety/recon out here. HPD isnt a big fan of Yellow Bulbs - LOL

 

YUP - i agree.

I was pretty sure it was as Cosmo posted earlier but than someone here who works at Mazda told me all 05s had HIDs. I never believe anything the sales people say but i figure i'ld look into it. I think its just all the 05s they ordered at their dealership had it.
