Look through the bottom portion of the front bumper but above the plastic tray thing. That big silver looking thing in the middle that is tilted at about a 45 degree angle is ur a/c condenser. The screen would cover I think about half of it on the bottom portion of the screen. It is supposed to block things like rocks from flying up in there and punching a hole in ur a/c condenser and saving you about six or seven hundred bucks. I have an 05 and when I installed my RB a/c condenser and oil cooler screens I had no factory screen covering my condenser. And I prefer the RB screens over the factory because it covers the entire thing.

The picture is of the Mazda OEM screen. (The RB screen is silver colored and covers the entire condenser.)

 

Mazda must have determined that rocks are only hitting the lower portion of the condenser otherwise since they are going through the trouble they would have put the screen up higher.

Also my rotors are painted silver and caliper are painted a green-silver and it is a late model 05.

 

I could sell you mine... I have that same OEM screen in my '05 (but the mesh holes are a lot bigger than in that picture). I didn't have the tools to put the new one in so I'd rather just get rid of it.
