Didnt sell my RX-8!
Bacause I still love it.
Recall? Pfft, all newly designed cars can have issues.
MPG? I researched and new what I was buying beforehand
Lack of power? thats what AFSC is for
Rattles, quirks, other things. it's a machine, they do that from time to time.
Bottom line is, I am still every bit in love with this car as I was the first day I saw her. So until we run out of gas, i'll be driving my 8!
Who's with me?

thank you!!! I'm getting sick of all these damn "for sale" threads and it's nice to know I'm not the only one that feels this way about my RX-8.

For Sale-2004 RX8
Bad gas mileage, too many recalls to list, brakes have squeaked since new

I'm with you, especially about the research part. For the most part, the Standard List of Whines consists of things that the owner could have and should have known about before buying the car.

You are preaching to the Amen choir!
- Question for the Klingon expert - if you take away a Klingon's will to die, can you train him to wash dishes?

this car is the underdog of the sportscar world right now...it's not going to win drag races (yet) and the gas mileage is mediocre...but let's face it. it's STILL bad-assed and no other car that I've ever driven feels like this! I'm with ya, man...it has some problems, but what car doesn't? I said it somewhere else, but in my opinion, the car...is a work of art. at a good price too! :D

Right on! I didn't sell mine either. I'm glad there are a few more in the same situation. I was beginning to think I would have to carry on conversations with myself on 8 club . . .

Just yesterday, a pretty nurse gave me a thumbs up and 'nice car' and a co-worker, unbeknowst a few cars back in line to the park turn in, heard/observed my high rev and tight turn remarked 'that machine really Moves!' Yup, six months and 6k miles, I'm still lovin' my '8.
