Well wtf! I didn't get the letter >_<

But someone posted it awhile back and I found out that way

Funny thing is at the same time the Dealership was telling me car wasn't under warranty anymore, I laffed at them!

Is that last part true swoope? Also what if your out of your warranty but got a new engine, how will this work? if I want my dealer to check out my engine and tranny?

Not sure, some people said they gave them another 1 yr or 12 K miles, whichever comes first

Some said just whatever you have on your warranty.

OK. I'll call my dealer on Monday. But is it for the Engine and Tranny or just one?

umm....my 06 on the sticker reads 4 year/48K bumper to bumper and 5/60K powertrain.

The 07++ have 3 year/36K bumper to bumper.....which is the main reason why i sprung for the 06........back in sept 06....

If you want to wait on that I can tell you in a few days, getting mine back with a new engine and my father is going with me to pick it up so he can see if we can get an extended factory warranty because of the new engine.

I'll let you guys know how that goes

I think it's the powertrain in the particular way you are asking. I got a letter on my 05 about 6 months ago.

2005 here. Got the letter.

5 year/60k warranty on power train.

Mazda should up it to 100k because I have 6 fewer horsepower than the sticker lists..

I'm not an expert so wait for someone else, but I'd say maybe all but the engine.
I don't really know though. I'd have to go read the letter and I'm too lazy.
Shini........that one ain't in the manual!

They never are

It'll be a sight to see when my father spends 15 minutes demeaning and insulting the service tech until he gives me an extended warranty.

I hope they do. Gotta have dad take the calm, nice approach first.
Good luck!
