Dents
Yesterday I hit a post! Nasty as I scraped the left rear wheel arch against a lamp post trying to avoid a truck on a narrow road (dived left). There are deep gouges in front and behind the wheel plus the alloy rim is scraped. The whole back of the car was kicked right by the impact.
No real good way to fix it - the wheel arch is 'part of the car' - not a panel. So I have three options:
1) Cut the rear of the car from above the rear door and replace the metal - over $2000 + ripping into my baby - doesn't sound smart
2) Hammer out the dents and paint over + polish and repaint the alloy ~$1000
3) Putty over the damage and repaint ~300$
I'll probably go for option 2 but it's only six months old and I've dented it - damn!
Unbelievable!

What's your insurance deductible if you mind me asking? Whatever the case, don't use putty!
I'm sorry to hear about your accident Unfortunately these things happen. Good luck man
