First and foremorst sorry if this is in the wrong forum, didn't know where to place it, move as needed.....



Hey guys I had a question, I was experiencing some shaking of the car while braking, reversing and turning at slow speeds, when at 6mph+ it was not there, only really slow like when your getting out of your parking spot, etc....

Anyways I took it in and they are replacing BOTH the right and left Engine Mounts and the Differential.. Whats your input on this? I understand the engine mounts, but does the differential affect this?

 

Are you sure it wasn't the differential mounts? Maybe the work order doesn't accurately describe what they did to the car? I doubt that they would replace the differential initially for the problem you describe, but I could be wrong. Also, I don't recall reading on the forum about any other differential replacements. Mounts I can see.
