Dealer Pricing and Waiting List Policy

Dealer Pricing and Waiting List Policy
my local dealer expects RX8 delivery in March or April and has the following policy for waiting list.
A non refundable $500 deposit.
Agreement to sell car to me at MSRP. Pricing not yet known
Opportunity to take cars in order of signing up, you can "step aside" if you do not want a particular color or equipment package.
How does this compare to other dealers? Do you expect that RX8 will be sold at MSRP or better for the first year?
Thank you
John
