Damn that was a curb!
son of a!! was leaving my friends house yesterday and needed to turn around I was parked on his side of the road in the opposite directions so I started her up turned the wheel far over and hit the gas, I knew I wouldnt make the whole turn on the pavement but I figured I'd go into the dirt just a bit with my right tire....wrong. There was a damn curb(the other side didnt have a curb), it was black ashfault curb and it was dark so I didn't see it till I was over it made this horrible scrap and grinding sound. I reversed and backed off it and drove on I didn't want to get out and look I was sure the bottom half of my bumper was crushed. Surprising it wasn't, everything looked fine there was some scraps on that splash guard peice that hangs right under the front bumper cover but thats it. The only real damage was on the cross member right behind the front wheels, looks like its the lowest part of the car, anyways the lip on the corner is bent up a bit. Thats about it, I was only going like 7mph when I hit. I think what saved me is the curb wasn't straight up and down, it had like a 50 degree angle to it

That sucks.
Everyone has a story like that - eventually everyone hit's their lip. I think I set the record for most embarasing though...

Broke my foglights, my front bumper, AND got stuck! I had to ask the people i was trying to show off to for help dislodging myself
Luckily, there was no real damage to the car. My pride, however, was totalled.
Everyone has a story like that - eventually everyone hit's their lip. I think I set the record for most embarasing though...
