Along time ago i saw this 8 that on its top middle brakelight(the smallest one thats on the top part of your trunk) when he stoped it would light up as "RX-8" and it looked identical to the silver badge on the truck(font wise) and i didnt no if he bought it or he did it himself.

i have searched the web for it but cant find it.

can anyone tell me if it was custom or he bought it?

isn't that just a translucent sticker decal? ie, peel and stick.

 

yea it is... i had to buy 2 cuz i messed up on the first one haha. it's so hard to get it perfectly straight.

 

Actually, I have this on my Stormy Blue and it is not a sticker. I found someone who had posted the RX-8 in the same script as the car in a .pdf file. I printed it and took it to Staples and had them make me several prints on clear acetate (for over heads). Took the light apart (look in the DIY section), inserted the acetate (cut to size), put the light together and re-installed in the car. Looks great, will not peel off and easy enough to remove if I get tired of it.

Took me about 1/2 hr start to finish.

 

Yeah, my car has this. It must have been installed by the previous owner. I had the car for two years before I found out it was there. A girl pointed it out to me because she thought it was "cute."
