Cruise Control "Surging/Pulsing??"

I have been reading posts to see if there is anyone else who has experienced the cruise control "pulsating" or "surging." ( I have a 2005. I set the cruise and notice that it surges ever so slightly. Not enough to register a change in speed and no its not the road conditions. I am driving on totally flat interstate.) I am surprised there is only a handful of owners to have this problem, and dont see any newer threads?! I have asked the service dept to check this out about a year ago, but they said they didnt find any problems. I know I am not imagining this!! Any fresh ideas on what this might be or what I could ask them to look at? Its really annoying, to the point I just prefer not to use the cruise control. Thats ridiculous. Thanks in advance!

Check your oil level and bring it in to the dealer. You are not up to date on the newest flash.

Did you ever find out what the problem may have been?
