Cruise Control self cancellation?

I was cruising along with the CC on around 65mph when all of a sudden the CC went offline and the car coasted down. Caught me off guard a bit. This happened again couple hours later during the same drive.

Has this happened to anyone before?

1) clutch pedal switch
2) brake pedal switch
3) traction control / stability control triggered
4) wheel speed sensor issue
5) your 4 tires are mismatched
6) cruise cancel button mistrigger

Never had it happen in the 8.
But most Cruise controls will shut off if a hill is too steep for a gear, or if it is being 'pushed' downhill by gravity

Im Having the same problem, I can turn the cruise control on but i cant set it...
the "CRUISE ON" light comes on but the green "CRUISE" light doesnt engage...

How Do you check the clutch pedal switch and the brake pedal switch? i went for a canyon run and i decided to take the traction and stability control off, would that affect my cruise control???

i installed hks coilovers so my alignment is slightly off... im pretty sure that doesnt have to do anything with my problem....

my wheel speed sensor couldn't be the problem cuz my abs light hasn't came on..

and my tires are all oem... not "mismatched"

as for the cruise control misstrigger...

WHAT!?!? the traction control on our cars feels like it restricts our cars to turn and accelerate all kinds(yea, yea no duh! thats what traction control is for...) but still i didn't think that it would affect my cruise control, because ive taken it off before and it worked properly with no issues...

There is something wrong, Ive had mine in 6th gear at 30mph going up a steep hill (not paying attention initially) and my car slowed down of course but the cruise didnt shut off.

+1 for taking it to the dealer, under warranty?

Um the problem i had is that i use to rest my foot on the clutch pedal at times. When i would try and engage cruise control it would never turn on.

On some cars the cruise control has a vacuum hose and if that hose has a very tiny leak then the cruise control will not stay or work at all. Does anybody know if our cars have a vacuum hose for the cruise control?
