Crashed RX8 need help

I crashed my rx8 on the country roads and i had my traction control off becoz i read on a thread and it sed traction control disenaged makes it faster.
stupid i know.

I dont want to claim my insurance as my premiums for the following year will be too high.
Had a quote to replace the front bumper, front side panel and the door panel and other bits and bobs for £1000 and its costing another £1000 for paint and labour.
I think the garage is goin to get the parts from Mazda.

I am wondering does any one know where to get cheaper parts?

I would suggest getting a Mazdaspeed front bumper instead of stock.

Not to be a dick, but you didn't wreck because you had traction control off- you wrecked because you don't know how to properly drive a RWD car. Don't blame the technology... we've been driving RWD cars for a looong time without traction and stability control systems. It really makes me worry these technologies are breeding a generation of kids that can't drive...

You might want to post a similar thread in the European forum. You'll probably get more traffic familiar with any deals to be had in your area.

I was gunna say you suck at grammar...but apparently you are european....ummm...you are right with insurance, dont claim if you can afford to replace it yourself. If there is no serious damage, replace the bumper yourself and have a garage fix the panel/door

sigh.

Dont drive without traction control unless you're on the track. There is not enough room for error on public streets.

RWD cars born to be harder to control than FWD cars.

So unless you know what you're doing. Yes I know turn everything off will make it faster. but if you cant control it. Whats the point ?

Good lessons indeed.

Now I guess maybe u can find some online sites and see how much they charge you, google is your friend now.
