Could you fit 2 normal sized golf bags in the trunk?

So the other day I was reading a review and I saw this interesting picture which really caught my attention (because I play golf). The picture showed two golf bags nicely fitted into the trunk. I don't really know if they did it with smaller golf bags but are there any golf-playing 8 owners who have experience in this?

I have a small golf bag that fits easily in the trunk with a cart.

If you are talking about big golf bags, no. But then in my previous cars (bmw 320 and Golf) they would not fit either. The back seat is a good option then, as it is easily reached through the back doors.

Certainly not with the spare tire kit. The 8's trunk is on par with that of my TT Roadster. I can fit a set of clubs in my TT, but I have to take the woods out of the bag and put them in separately. The 8, however, has a nice backseat on which you can place a second set if necessary. :D No backseat in the TT.

I'd venture a guess that you couldn't fit two full size bags (certainly not with pull carts) in the trunk.

I have found that I can get two golf bags in the trunk. They are both 8 inch stand bags (Callaway/Oglio style). You can't have much stuffed in the side pockets for them to fit. One other issue is that the trunk opening is small, so any "long" drivers are best pulled out of the bag and then laid in on top. There would have been hell to pay if I had to tell my 14 handicap wife that her clubs wouln't fit on our trips! But even with the clubs in the back end of the trunk there is still enough space toward the front to load a small soft side suitcase, not to mention the rear seats.

I regularly put a stand bag and a touring bag both in the trunk of my car.. which already has a subwoofer box that takes up the part of the trunk under the rear dash.

Unless the stroller was a collapsible (and I mean flat) I don't see how it's possible, like someone else mentioned above, I have to remove my driver from the bag before laying my lightweight carry-bag into the bay and then I just lay the driver on top...but this subject is ONE of the most important reasons I chose this car over some of it's competitors....GOLFBAG room

i have done it, 2 bags, normal size, and it fits nicely. You just have to do it slowly not to scratch the car in doing so. And without the spare tire kit there's a nice place for golf shoes in the depression.

I can get two stand bags in. Can't imagine shoving in a tour bag!

I have a new driver and sometimes have to take it out of the bag first.

I do like the recessed area where the shoe bags fit!

The guys at the club always give me a "nice car" greeting - as they are amazed that their are 2 bags in the trunk!

On a related note, you can only fit one golf bag and one human body in the trunk
