Composite Hoods
Composite Hoods
From a technical stand point why is there such a big difference in the prices of carbon fiber hoods. You can buy one for $250 or you can pay $950 and they both are wet formed hoods. I understand that some do a good job of increasing ventilation and are good at keeping engine compartment temp. levels down. Other than that what is the reason for such a big differene in price? Layers of carbon? Higher percentage of carbon? Better carbon? I'm just really curious and much thanks ahead of time for any info
There are carbon fibre hoods costing more than 1000$ actually.
For the lower level ones it's mostly build quality\fitment\brand to determine the price. They're just frp hoods with a carbon layer in the end...
