Colour choice / question

I recently pre-ordered a Sunlight Silver '8, but I'm having a tough time not to change my mind. I'm really torn between the silver, red and yellow. Can someone please explain what is meant when Mazda describe the red and yellow as 'Mica' as opposed to 'mettalic'? Also, I'm sure I've read somewhere that the red gets three coats while 'metallic' colours get only two. Why is this?

Anybody seen the '8 up close in any of the above colours? What did you all think? It's difficult to judge the colour looking at photographs alone.

Cheers.

Apparently the flakes in a Mica paint ate a yellow/goldish color, while the flecks in a Metallic color are silverish.

Yeah the red has a gold flake to it. It's really nice under the sun
