Clip/Nut for rear bumper plate screw.

I lost one of the clips for the rear bumper. The clip is placed on the inside of the bumper and acts as a nut for the screw/bolt for the license plate. Where can I find a replacement or what can I use as a substitute?

they should sell them at your local ace hardware or any hardware store, its like a little plastic peice that the screw goes into. I think it was acctually with the other license plate hardware at my ace

I am wondering how it is attached to the inside of the bumper. It is not exactly an anchor or nut that requires the bolt to be tightened on it for it to stay on the bumper. I also have a hard time getting to the inside of the bumper without taking it off.

iirc There are molded tabs on the inside of the bumper that hold the plastic plate "nut" so it doesn't turn. It's difficult, but you should be able to reach inside the bumper.

I got replacement nuts from the stealership. I think they were like $2 each, but they were OEM and I wanted to make sure they would fit right. With a little patience you can get them installed without removing the rear bumper but it is a PITA. I think there is a picture on here somewhere of a removed rear bumper where you can see how those molded tabs look so you can see how to place the nuts back there.
