clear bug shield

Ok, so I saw an 8 on here with a clear plastic bug "bra" on. Does anybody know where I can go to have this done? Texas bugs and rocks....killin' my paint job.

I had mine done at a place called ChipGuard ..... this wont help you too much as this is a Canadian company , but the product they use are 3M products . Try a seach on Google for 3M Chip Guard.

So do you like it and is it worth it? Does it start peeling or hurt the paint if you need take it off?

Go to Tintdude.com. There's a Paint Protection Section of the forum there. Very experienced guys. Some on the site must be near you. Or they could recommend a good installer.

Anybody done this by themselves? I am interested, just not interested in paying more for labor than for the protective film. Can make car payments, but not an added $800 on top of that to take my car somewhere and have this installed.

Where is ChipGuard? I searched the net and canada411 but couldn't find them, I need to get my mirrors done.
