This car was on display at Sevenstock. Customized by a dealer "Galpin" who is famous/infamous for "Galpinizing" their cars.
When I saw the car at Sevenstock, the first thing I thought of is why did they have to pick the same color that I relate to the 350Z? I don't like it on the Z, liked it even less on the 8. It was an interesting effect to color match the wheels - but NOT in that color for me.
It would be one of a kind.........

I wonder how long it'll sit on the lot before they get an offer on it.
Edit: LMAO! I made an offer ($1.00 opening Bid on eBay) That's my max bid. :D

I dunno, I kinda like it. Mazda should have been more adventurous when picking out colors for our 8. If this color option was available (minus the half-etched rims and the two tone interior), I think I would have chose it over black.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of the color but it's not too bad. The main UGLY part of the car is the interior and the wheels. If I got it, and I wont, I would tell him to take the rims off and give me normal ones.
With time I would put in all black seats not that PIMP looking gold...yuck!
BUT, if it were sold for cheap $19,000 or less...I think it might be worth buying???

They're really lucky that Madza DIDN'T come out with that color for 2005.

I almost bough the widlfire 6 months ago
I almost bought that car at Galpin. Until I found out that the price tag was $54,000. They had charged $10,000 for the paint job (chromalusion color shifting paint) $2000 for the custom interior. Plus they were double charging for all the other extras (19" wheels, accents, exhaust, lojack, 6 disc cd changer, etc...)
So instead I just bought a black one and I bargained shopped all the same accessories for a fraction of the price Galpin wanted.
In all fairness the photographs of the Wildfire don't do it justice. It really looks a lot better when you see it in person and see the color shifting paint.
But I still think its overpriced. I'm not surprised it's on ebay. The last time I saw that car was 6 months ago and they still haven't sold it, so they must be getting desperate.

Shopping for rotaries? Try here: http://www.rotarytraderonline.com/
Cool, I"ll have to go check that site out.
If they think they are going to get $54,000 for an RX8 they have to be smoking the stuff there were smoking when they picked the pimp GOLD interior. When will people learn, the money you put into a car will most likely never come back to you...well, unless you find
Mr. or Ms. SUCKER
