my check engine light is on, and the intake does not sound smooth as it use to be, now there is a wierd sound at wide open throttle, maybe at 5-9k rmp, i took it to autozone so that they can check out the check engine light, but when they hooked it up, the scanner said something about not beeing able too link or something like that, so they could not help me with that, i kind of noticed that change about 2 dayst after i installed an enige ground kit and a voltage stabilizer, anyone know what might be wrong??

 

Wow. I dont know. I mean I never installed a ground kit or voltage stabilizer. Dose it sounds like "Marbles in a blender"? What you got AT or MT?

 

i have a 6-speed, and i cant really explain the sound but....do you think i can maybe recod it on my cell phone and then e-mail the sound and post it up or something?

 

You sure you didnt short anything when you install your ground kit and voltage stabilizer ?

i say don't ever go to autozone, replaced the stocked equipment and see what the dealer says
