check engine light???

hi, i have a question about my check engine light in my 8...today my friend and i were driving home from the movies and we wanted a quick run...so we slowed down on 1rst gear, i redlined (shifted at ~8600) every gear, and at the end of 5th my check engine light went off (started blinking)...after about 1 minute it stopped, should i have anything to worry about?????? THANKS!

Maybe a misfire, have you canged your spark plugs recently? otherwise check them.

I dont think you need to worry about it, is it a serious problem the light will stay on.

it most likely is a misfire
coils/plugs/wires

oem coils are a weak link in these cars
try BHR
