Changing passenger window button

Does anyone know if the window regulator buttons can be changed so that both windows will have the express down? If this is possible, I would like to purchase an extra driver's side window button and replace the passenger button (on driver side). This way both will have express down. Do you think this is possible?

I would like that feature too for auto down. Since youare talking about windows I want to know if I can get something that will let me open the rear windows automatically with a button like in minivans. I dont like having to get out and openup the passenger door just to open the rear window on the passenger side.

I to had kind of thought about finding a way to do that, only thing i could think of, (other than some homebrew concoction) is to find a wrecked minivan and try to get the motorized opener parts from that. Then its a matter of finding a place to wire in a switch for them... then i realized, i'm just too damn lazy... :-)

While on the subject...

Has anyone else noticed that when you press the lockout switch to disable the passenger's side window control, it also disables the driver's control for that window? How silly is that? In every other car I've driven with power windows, the driver is still able to control all the windows even when the passenger's controls are disabled.

The 3 toyota's i have driven (Rav4, Echo, 4Runner) all locked the drivers window too, quite annoying.

I'd actually be surprised if it's the switch rather than the regulator itself. I'd love to be able to make both windows auto down though. And auto up -- I don't know why that feature isn't available on more cars. Infiniti's have it.
