Changing the over rev alarm

Hi guys.
Is there anyway to change when you hear the over rev alarm? I'd like to play around with some settings.
In an effort to conserve fuel and monitor my own driving, I'd like to temporarily bring it down so I hear the alarm when going over 4.5k revs. Is that possible?
Thanks

Wouldn't it just make far more sense to listen to the engine itself to know what RPM you are at? Surely after driving the car a few times you should be able to tell what 4.5krpm sounds like.

The alarm coming on at 4500 rpm every time would get pretty annoying real quick I would assume.

The sound of the air ports opening around the rpm is pretty distinct, I would use that sound.

Not trying to thread jack but is there a way to increase the volume of the beep? I find that the engine noise is so loud you can't actually hear it sometimes lol

The buzzer is soldered onto the back of the instrument cluster, I'm sure if you added two wires and ran it under the dash, you could wire in a Mallory Sonalert (they are wicked loud and low voltage) or some other kind of sensitive beeper.
